Adobe offers video format for professionals
Posted on Thursday, September 2nd, 2010Known for its graphic and video software the company Adobe Systems today has made a proposal to create a new universal and open file format designed to store captured video.
The new format will differ from conventional recorded video files such as avi so that, firstly, the video will be in an uncompressed form, and secondly, audio tracks will appear as separate streams, and thirdly, it will comprise necessary editor’s meta-data, such as data for frames, finally, fourthly, the format should become universal for all video editing programs.
